Experlogix Customer Wins Two Gartner CRM Excellence Awards
SANTA BARBARA, CA, - March 25, 2010 - Experlogix, Inc., the leading developer of web-based sales and manufacturing configurator solutions for Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ERP today reported that Gartner, Inc. and 1to1 Media have awarded Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe (MCFE) as the overall winner of the Gartner & 1to1 Media Customer Relationship Management Excellence Award 2010 in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and in Asia-Pacific region. MCFE also won a CRM Excellence Award in the category of Efficiency 2010.
The awards recognizes the company that most clearly demonstrated excellence in its CRM initiatives based on criteria defined in Gartner's Eight Building Blocks of CRM and 1to1's approach to building profitable customer relationships based on understanding customer needs and value. The award was presented at the Gartner Customer Relationship Management Summit 2010, held in London on March 16-17, 2010.
Supporting the needs of 100-plus dealers once meant a lot of heavy lifting for Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe , which manufactures, distributes, and sells internal combustion engine and electric forklift trucks through more than 100 independent dealers in EMEA. After implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the Experlogix Configurator with assistance from (at)work Management Associates in Holland, MCFE executives have a complete view of all dealer requests across departments. Microsoft Dynamics CRM combines with the Experlogix Configurator to streamline a dealer's ability to place orders, while mitigating the risks of lost orders. The company's previous Web-based order entry system was "unstable" and wasn't integrated with MCFE's ERP system. Dealers can now use a self-service Web portal to configure forklift orders to meet their customers' needs. Once a dealer submits a configuration, the system generates a quote. When the dealer accepts the quote, it automatically becomes an order in the ERP system. Dealers can also use the portal submit inquiries and complaints, print documents like invoices, and track the progress of their orders and inquiries.
The new system has increased dealer usage from 30 percent to 95 percent—previously, it took eight minutes to enter an order into the system; it now takes 90 seconds. With 16,000 annual orders coming into MCFE, that's saving the company more than 72 days a year in order processing labor.
